Nothing Prettier than Rustic Farmhouse Spring Decor
Spring officially arrived last week, but I’m still waiting to see actual signs that she made it here safely.
Our 4th (and hopefully final) snow nor’easter blew through here on March 21, but the snow is already starting to melt, and temperatures are on the rise.
Finally, it is starting to feel a smidge like spring.
It feels a little weird decorating for spring when there’s still snow outside, but hopefully, that is all behind us now, and we can move on to all things pink, green, yellow, blue – any color besides ashy gray and brown!
So, spring. Home. Decorations. I’m always looking for new inspiration and ideas to move my house along to the next season.
Like any mom with no real-time on her hands but creeps on Pinterest to avoid cleaning the floors, I’ve been hunting for some new rustic farmhouse spring decor ideas. Pinterest, you did not disappoint!
A House Made Ready for Spring with Farmhouse Decor
What I’ve compiled in this post is ideas for all different areas of your house to spruce up with rustic decor – mantels, console tables, kitchen and dining areas, and entryways. These are the most visible rooms in your home, so it’s a great place to start.

The ideas here are so beautiful, and you will definitely notice some trends: flower pots, glass jars of all sizes, galvanized buckets, fresh flowers, wooden signs, chalkboards, items from nature…all in line with the farmhouse theme plus a touch of spring in the mix.
I’ve said it a million times – I love the rustic farmhouse look: it just exudes peace and tranquility, and it is such an inviting space for others, too.

I’m using mantels loosely, here.
These vignettes can be set up on tables and shelves as well! Any place you want to draw the eye and attention will work well, too!

Setting up a console table is a very similar process to setting up a mantel.
You’ll probably have a little more depth to work with so you can have some fun with using objects of different heights and widths to layer it up and adding some dimension to it!

Kitchens are such a busy and functional space. The key for kitchen decor is to add interest and spring elements without it being distracting and annoying from what you really need to do in your kitchen!

Entryways are such a fun space to decorate. It can be a little challenging because you’re typically working with a small area, and you usually need it to be a somewhat functional space for coats, shoes, or bags.
