Why you need to try this Asian Slaw Recipe
- Just 3 ingredients!
- Peanuts add flavor and crunch
- Ready in 10 minutes
Asian Slaw Ingredients
- Tri-Color Coleslaw Mix
- Asian Dressing
- Peanuts
I am all about easy meal solutions, and this Asian Slaw could not be easier. You only need three ingredients to make a yummy side salad that everyone will gobble up. Yup, you read right! All you need is tri-color cole slaw mix with cabbage and carrots, peanuts and Asian dressing.
The supermarket shortcut in this dish is a bottle of Asian dressing. You can use any Asian dressing in this easy recipe, but my favorite is Ken's Lite Asian Sesame with ginger and soy. I really love the flavors. But honestly, any bottled Asian dressing will do.
How to Make Asian Slaw
Place cole slaw mix into a large bowl. Shake the dressing then pour the entire 16 oz bottle of Asian dressing into the bowl with the slaw mix.
Mix well until the dressing is evenly distributed.
Add ½ cup of peanuts. You can shell your own or use salted peanuts.
Mix well and cover with foil. Refrigerate this crunchy Asian slaw for 2 hours or more to really bring out the flavors.
This slaw makes a great side for any Asian meal. You can even add some chicken to this to make it a full meal and add protein.
